If you’re a fan of college football, like me, you’re excited to see what prized recruits your team is going to land this morning. Schools from all over the country try to persuade high school seniors where to spend the next three to five years studying and playing football.
High school football in the United States, specifically when it comes to recruiting, is a big business. So much so that recruiting services like 247Sports rank thousands of players in the country simply by their potential to be the next college football star.
Last year, I got the idea to do something similar for the WWE, mainly for research purposes for an article about a potential brand split. I enjoyed the work so much that I decided to do the same thing this year. I broke down the signing class for both Raw and SmackDown Live, and the recruiting class for WWE’s 2017 National Signing Day is as follows:
