The women of WWE kicked off last night’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view with a bang. Six teams competed in the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Entering first in the match and outlasting the teams of Nia Jax and Tamina, Carmella and Naomi, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, and Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection (Sasha Banks and Bayley) became the first WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions since 1989.
Bayley and Sasha Banks struggled for words as they attempted to express the depth of their feelings regarding the journey to and capturing of their Tag Team Championships.
