Roman Reigns was scheduled to reveal his plans for Summerslam last week on SmackDown Live but was never able to do so, as someone pushed a lighting rig on top of him as he made his way toward the interview with Kayla Braxton. Or did they?

WWE released a statement claiming that, after their investigation, it was discovered that the lighting rig was dropped due to a forklift malfunction, but as no one was quite convinced this is actually what happened, officials took it upon themselves to do some further digging.

Their first (and last) interviewee was Samoa Joe, who was caught on his way out of the airport by a “reporter,” questioning what he knew about the incident with Roman Reigns.

As you can see from the video below, Samoa Joe was less than hospitable toward the reporter and smacked the phone with which he was recording the conversation out of his hands.

Later in the day, WWE announced that Samoa Joe would be fined an “undisclosed amount” due to his hostility at the Pittsburgh Airport.

The Raw before the attack on Roman Reigns, he and Samoa Joe were set to participate in a “Samoan Summit,” which was informally canceled when Samoa Joe attacked Reigns backstage, leading to an all-out brawl at ringside.

It is this recent history of savage behavior toward The Big Dog that made officials question Samoa Joe in the first place and leaves his name at the top of the list of suspects.
