Aleister Black vs. Hideo Itami vs. Kassius Ohno

NXT Championship No. 1 Contender Triple Threat Match

Hideo Itami and Kassius Ohno have been feuding for months now, while Aleister Black has been kicking people’s heads off. Putting the three best strikers in NXT in a match is an excellent idea by itself, but the winner becoming the number one contender for the NXT Championship makes it even better.

Winner: Aleister Black

The Authors of Pain (c) vs. Sanity

NXT Tag Team Championship Match

This one doesn’t need much explanation… These two teams are the best in the division, so they face each other for the titles. NXT isn’t shy about doing heels versus heels and faces versus faces, which is great because neither are we.

Winner: The Authors of Pain

Pete Dunne (c) vs. Tyler Bate

United Kingdom Championship Match

Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate already have WWE’s 2017 Match of the Year locked down, and only a third bout between the two could possibly top it. On top of best match, Bate versus Dunne has the potential to be one of the best feuds to take place in WWE this year if they continue with the story, so let’s hope fantasy becomes reality on August 19th.

Winner: Pete Dunne

Asuka (c) vs. Ember Moon

NXT Women’s Championship Match

WWE has been planting the seeds for this bout for months now, and it appears that Ember Moon may be the woman to finally slay the beast that is Asuka. I’d love to see Asuka remain undefeated and relinquish the title on her own before heading to SmackDown Live or Raw, but if NXT history is any indication, she’ll go out looking at the lights.

Winner: Ember Moon

Bobby Roode (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

NXT Championship Match

It seems the Bobby Roode era of NXT is slowly winding down, and Drew McIntyre is the perfect man to hammer the final nail in the coffin. McIntyre has looked incredible since his return, and I think he could have fantastic title matches with numerous guys on the NXT roster.

Winner: Drew McIntyre
