NXT TakeOver WarGames is coming to you live out of the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, this Saturday, November 23rd, on the WWE Network. We’ve got the TakeOver WarGames 2019 match card, as well as our predictions and overall thoughts on the show for you to check out below.
Angel Garza vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott

Neither Angel Garza nor Isaiah “Swerve” Scott has been able to maintain a winning streak since making their NXT debut, but both will be looking to change their luck tonight during the TakeOver WarGames preshow.
Though Angel Garza will undoubtedly take Swerve to the limit, Isaiah will take the win in this match and (hopefully) move on to challenge Lio Rush or Roderick Strong (or even Adam Cole) for their respective championships.
Winner: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
Women’s WarGames Match
Team Ripley (Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox & Mia Yim) vs. Team Baszler (Shayna Baszler, Kay Lee Ray, Io Shirai & Bianca Belair)

This show is difficult to predict, in my opinion. Particularly this match, because while it would make sense for Team Baszler to win, as Shayna and Kay Lee Ray are both champions and Bianca Belair and Io Shirai have been dominating the women’s division as well, it presents the perfect opportunity to set up the story for Shayna’s next challenger.
But because I would love to see Rhea Ripley cement herself as a force to be reckoned with in NXT US, Tegan Nox get a win in her first big match since returning from injury, and Candice LeRae and Mia Yim take their next steps in the NXT Women’s Division, I’m going with Team Ripley.
Winner: Team Ripley
Matt Riddle vs. Finn Bálor

Since returning to NXT, Finn Bálor has been extremely upfront about his new outlook, taking Johnny Gargano out of the WarGames match with a brutal attack before turning his attention toward Matt Riddle.
Matt Riddle will have an opportunity to get revenge on Bálor tonight, and will most likely prove that Bálor isn’t as high above the rest of the NXT roster as he seems to believe, but ultimately, Bálor will be the one to take the win.
Winner: Finn Bálor
Men’s WarGames Match
Team Ciampa (Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic & ???) vs. The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish)

This one feels slightly easier to guess (that being said, there is a high probability that I’m wrong). The Undisputed Era are a tried and true tag team, they will be in their element, and they literally hold all of the gold in NXT.
But, Tommaso Ciampa has made it clear that he will do anything it takes to get the better of Adam Cole and regain the NXT Championship, Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic have a clear size advantage over every member of The Era, and their mystery partner could be a total game-changer.
Personally, I would love to see a returning Velveteen Dream take that position, assuming he’s healthy enough to do so, not only because he’s one of the top guys in NXT, but also because The Undisputed Era are the ones who put him out of action (in storyline) in the first place.
However, even with everything Team Ciampa has going for them, I still think Undisputed Era squeak by with the victory. Especially since Adam Cole will have an NXT Championship match at Survivor Series the following evening, so he will have extra motivation to gain momentum going into Sunday.
Winner: The Undisputed Era
Pete Dunne vs. Killian Dain vs. Damian Priest
Winner Faces Adam Cole at Survivor Series

Pete Dunne returned to the black and gold brand with one goal in mind: to become NXT Champion. He ruled NXT UK for a record-breaking amount of time and is looking to repeat his past accomplishment stateside.
But The Bruiserweight has come upon a few roadblocks on his way to Adam Cole, namely Damian Priest and Killian Dain, each man seeing an opportunity to make a name for themselves by defeating the former champion. Dunne has fought his way through both competitors, but tomorrow night will face the ultimate challenge of fighting both at once.
Since his arrival in NXT, however, Pete Dunne has shown time and again that he will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals and will do so again at TakeOver when he defeats both Damian Priest and Killian Dain and wins the NXT Championship Match against Adam Cole at Survivor Series.
Winner: Pete Dunne
