The Queen lived up to her moniker last night on SmackDown Live when she opened the show with one of the best in-character speeches she’s ever given.
Being Vince McMahon’s personal choice to main event WrestleMania would make anyone feel good about themselves, but Charlotte Flair’s confidence seemed to skyrocket after The Chairman revealed his decision on Raw.
After putting some of her naysayers in their place on Twitter earlier in the day, Charlotte took to the ring to carefully explain exactly why she was Vince’s handpicked opponent for Ronda Rousey before dedicating her WrestleMania match to her best friend, Becky Lynch.
Charlotte has never been meek by any means, but any hint of uncertainty has now fallen away, diminishing anyone’s doubts that she is truly a queen.
