Up until last night, the WrestleMania main event was clear: Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat for Rousey’s Raw Women’s Championship.
However, after a fantastic Women’s Championship Match against Asuka last night on SmackDown, things became somewhat uncertain. Charlotte defeated Asuka, becoming the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.
This could go a few different ways: it’s possible that Charlotte won the championship to makes the stakes at WrestleMania even higher because, if the SmackDown Championship is added, the winner of the match will be the Undisputed Women’s Champion. It’s also likely that the SmackDown Championship will not be included in the match, allowing the Four Horsewomen of WWE (Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley) to all have championship at the end of the show.
Regardless of which direction is taken, this historic WrestleMania main event is sure to be fantastic.
