After losing the Intercontinental Championship to Finn Bálor in a 2-on-1 handicap match (in which Lashley had the advantage) at Elimination Chamber a few weeks ago, Bobby Lashley and his spirited hype-man Lio Rush have been working tirelessly to return the title to Lashley’s waist.
To much of the WWE Universe’s dismay, all the hard work (and underhanded tactics) paid off when Bobby Lashley defeated Finn Bálor in a match for the title last night on Raw.
This may very well lead to a Mania match between Lashley and Bálor, but we will just have to wait and see where the road to WrestleMania takes us.
