Though Bayley and Becky Lynch have gone one on one before on NXT, the two have never locked horns on the main roster. Until tonight, that is.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live will feature the first-ever match between Bayley and Becky Lynch to take place on the main roster. Though Becky Lynch already has plenty on her plate with two championship matches at Money in the Bank, her quest to be the greatest fighting champion led her to accept yet another challenge.
Last week on SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair defeated Bayley in a Number 1 Contendership Match, securing her place in the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship Match at Money in the Bank. However, Bayley’s impressive performance and Becky Lynch’s annoyance with Charlotte Flair’s constant presence at her heels created an opportunity for The Huggable One anyway, albeit in a non-title match.
With the combination of Becky’s heavily loaded schedule and Bayley’s newfound aggression and confidence, Bayley might just bring down the champ champ.
