On March 10, 1997, WWE gave their flagship program Monday Night Raw a much-needed facelift. Along with a move to two hours, and a new look, the show was renamed “Raw is War,” a name WWE would continue to use through September of 2001.
Over that four-and-half-year period, WWE would go on to produce some of its most memorable television to date, featuring some of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling.
In what we’re calling Operation Raw is War, our plan is to cover all of the pay-per-view events from this time period, as well as every episode of Monday Night Raw, in great detail.
We’ll be publishing written reviews of these shows to the site after a few months, as well as producing audio reviews, which will be exclusive to our Patreon members starting now.
