Braun Strowman improved by leaps and bounds over the course of the year and has positioned himself as a major player going into 2018. Strowman has been one of the biggest and brightest stars of 2017, helping create some of the year’s most exciting moments.

Rivalry of the Year

  • Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns
  • Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens
  • The New Day vs. The Usos
  • Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

The two best tag teams of the last decade locked horns for the majority of the year and managed to keep viewers engaged for the entire length of their feud. From classic matches to entertaining segments, this rivalry had everything you want from a first-rate feud and more.

NXT Tag Team of the Year

  • The Authors of Pain
  • DIY
  • SAnitY
  • The Undisputed Era

For the entire calendar year, The Authors of Pain ran roughshod over the NXT tag division. These behemoths are going to be major players on SmackDown Live or Raw sooner rather than later, but in the year 2017, they made NXT their own personal playground of destruction.

NXT Female Superstar of the Year

  • Asuka
  • Ember Moon
  • The Iconics
  • Nikki Cross

Asuka last appeared in NXT on September 6th, but for almost nine months, she was absolutely untouchable. Asuka’s run as NXT Women’s Champion, which lasted 523 days, is one the most legendary title reigns in WWE history.

NXT Male Superstar of the Year

  • Aleister Black
  • Andrade “Cien Almas”
  • Bobby Roode
  • Johnny Gargano

Aleister Black introduced himself to the NXT Universe on April 1st at NXT TakeOver: Orlando and instantly became one of the faces of the brand. Black, who has yet to be defeated, will be one of the company’s biggest stars in 2018.

WWE Tag Team of the Year

  • The Bar
  • The New Day
  • The Shield
  • The Usos

Tag team wrestling is alive and well in WWE, and no team was better than The Usos in 2017. If The Usos were on your television this year, then something awesome was happening in the ring or on the microphone.

WWE Female Superstar of the Year

  • Alexa Bliss
  • Charlotte Flair
  • Naomi
  • Sasha Banks

The Goddess of WWE picked up right where she left off in 2016 and had yet another fantastic year. Bliss continues to improve in the ring and on the microphone, and as good as she’s been so far, the 26-year-old’s best years are still ahead of her.

WWE Male Superstar of the Year

  • AJ Styles
  • Kevin Owens
  • Roman Reigns
  • Samoa Joe

2017 was the year of The Phenomenal One. Styles, one of the most popular Superstars in the company, and one of the most talented in-ring performers in the world, has done nothing but hit home runs since his arrival in WWE. There’s no doubt that he is on pace to be one of the greatest performers in the history of the company.
