Not only is this one of the best Kevin Owens matches, it’s also the most exciting match on this particular episode of Raw. In fact, watching this opening match, you would have no idea that you were about to see an incredibly average show. It was non-stop action from two of the top performers in the company who had the entire audience on its feet.

SummerSlam 2015
This match was fought half in the ring, half outside of it, but the entire thing was awesome. These two tore each other apart in the pre-main event bout of SummerSlam.

Hell in a Cell 2016
The first of two Hell in a Cell Matches to make this list, this was a brutal display from one of the top heels in the company. Owens used every trick in the book to take down his opponent, including interference from his then-best friend Chris Jericho.

Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon
Hell in a Cell 2017
These two make you feel like they legitimately hate each other, in this match and throughout their entire ongoing feud. This was an extremely high-risk, high-impact contest that ended with the reuniting of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn when Zayn pulled Owens away from a devastating elbow drop by McMahon from the top of the cell.

NXT Championship Ladder Match
NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn
This TakeOver is fantastic overall, and if you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend watching the entire thing. However, if you could only watch one match, this would be a great choice. Owens and Balor threw everything they had at each other in only the second ladder match to ever take place in an NXT ring.

The Beast in the East
Another classic NXT match between Owens and Bálor, this was actually the first of the two and, like with most things, nothing beats the original. The hype for this match was huge, but these guys lived up to every ounce of it and stole the show in Toyko.

Royal Rumble 2017
This is a wild match including tables, chairs, foreign objects, shark cages, interference from an (always) angry Braun Strowman, a stunner from Owens…anything you could possibly want from a No DQ match, really.
It is one of the best Kevin Owens matches and truly one that we can watch again and again.

Owens and Zayn have one of my favorite feuds of modern wrestling. This is an emotional, action-packed contest between bitter rivals and it is absolutely thrilling to watch.

Money in the Bank 2015
This is a hard-fought battle between two superstars out to prove that they are the best in the business. They hit each other with the biggest moves in their arsenals and were still unable to keep the other down. Owens was still at the start of his main roster career at this point, but it was clear that he had an exceptionally bright future.

The very best of the Kevin Owens matches is also his first match on the main roster. This was an excellent illustration of what Owens had to offer for those who hadn’t followed his rise through NXT. He went up against the face of WWE, John Cena, and proved right away that he had top-guy talent.
